Run a Food or Fundraising Drive
Hosting a food or fundraising drive is easy. Your drive can be big (a school-wide or place of worship-wide drive) or small (a food donation or cash donation in-lieu-of-gifts birthday party or a classroom drive). We are grateful for any and all donations of cash or kosher food, baby diapers and personal care items.
- Just pick a date and call us for more information or ideas on how you can help and how we can help you to be successful in your drive.
- We have a "How To" packet and a flyer that can be customized for your project, including Squirrel Hill Community Food Pantry facts and a current shopping list of most-needed items.
- You can collect food in your own containers/bags or we can deliver one or more food barrels to your office, place of worship or school.
- If you need help delivering the food collected to the Squirrel Hill Community Food Pantry, we will solicit assistance from some of our wonderful volunteers.
- We can provide donation forms to ensure that all your participants are properly credited.
